ResellersPanel Premieres a New File Manager for Its 5th Anniversary

The company has integrated an advanced file manager in its hosting control panel and has enabled its resellers to create several online stores and offer web hosting services in different currencies on them.

London, United Kingdom - July 10, 2008 ResellersPanel, a pioneer in private label reseller hosting, announces that it has introduced major upgrades to its hosting platform in time for its fifth anniversary celebrations, among them a brand new file manager, a multi-currency billing solution and a new multi-store functionality.

Beside their default store, the resellers now have the opportunity to create up to three more, entirely independent of each other, free reseller web hosting stores, configured according to their specific marketing strategies. They can get a unique domain name, choose a different website template and activate a separate DNS cluster for each of the stores, which will drive brand recognition and significantly increase their reseller anonymity.

The new multi-currency billing solution, on the other hand, gives the resellers the possibility to offer web hosting and domain registration services in the five most widely used online transaction currencies and directly address the demands of a particular target audience or a specific local market. The new file manager, which has been integrated in the web hosting control panel, boasts an entirely new, easy to navigate user-friendly interface.

Beside the ability to manage multiple files and folders at once, the users now have an unprecedented opportunity to edit their files using a WYSIWYG editor and to view the changes they are making directly in a web browser in real time. The new file manager also gives the clients the opportunity for the first time to upload .zip, .rar, .tar.gz and .gz archived files and folders, which are being automatically unpacked in the selected directory, and visually keep track of the process by means of a progress bar. Pop-up tooltips, which contain essential information about a given file or folder and display the actions that can be performed on them, self-evident file type icons and image file thumbnails have been introduced as well.

The updates to the multi-lingual hosting control panel include also the addition of the Chinese language, PHP6 support, a new domain parking option, a WHOIS/ID protection service, which allows the registrants to shield their identity against spammers and fraudsters, and a new .htaccess file generator, which offers IP authentication, hotlinking protection, SSI activation, URL redirection and custom error pages creation.

ResellersPanel Goes Dedicated and Expands Its Presence in Europe

The company has launched a new line of dedicated, semi-dedicated and virtual private servers and has moved to a UK data center.

The emblem of free reseller hosting, announces the launch of its new line of dedicated, semi-dedicated and virtual private servers. A dedicated hosting service means that the client rents an entire server not shared with anyone else, which is typically located in a data center.

Besides choosing one of ResellersPanel_s five predefined dedicated server packages offering top-notch hardware and the latest cutting-edge processors from Intel and AMD, the more advanced users can also build their own server configuration up from scratch.

They are provided with complete root access and thus will be able to install and configure any additional software, and also to reboot the server at any time. Those who do not possess the skills necessary to maintain a dedicated server can consider one of ResellersPanel_s Managed Services packages and free themselves of any administration responsibilities.

ResellersPanel has launched three virtual private server packages offering 200, 400 and 800 GB monthly traffic, respectively, as well. A virtual private server implies the division of a physical server into smaller virtual ones, which work as if they were dedicated servers and run their own full-fledged operating systems. The users can choose between Cent OS, Fedora Core 4 and Debian OSs, and between Plesk and cPanel web hosting control panel types.

They can reboot their machines independently with the help of the Virtuozzo Power Console, a software-based virtualization environment, and install almost any software that runs on the chosen OS. The semi-dedicated servers, on the other hand, will be accommodating no more than 5-6 accounts each, so that every user will be able to use up to 20% of the CPU resources, perform up to 90 000 MySQL queries per hour and host unlimited domains and e-mail addresses.

In addition, ResellersPanel has started offering hosting services that use servers located in the BlueSquare data center in Maidenhead, England a move the company has made to the benefit of its European clients. The rest of the servers are housed in Peer1_s data center in Fremont, California.

ResellersPanel_s CEO Kalin Blaskoff said that ResellersPanel dedicates the dedicated servers to its dedicated clients, that the company has deployed servers located in the United Kingdom because of the growing demand from its resellers, 25% of whom prefer to be hosted on European-based servers because of their geographical location, and that compared to the American hosting market, the European one is twice as big in terms of population.
